Vulcanite successfully bid a tender to supply critical primary suspension springs to the San Francisco MUNI Breda Light Rail overhaul project. 

Over a year and a half was dedicated to re design, development and 'in service' validation of the component which allowed Vulcanite to participate and be awarded the contract to  supply over 200 pcs for this coming year 2008.

 

This project marks a turning point in the successful  supply relationship with this major municipal rail operator on the west coast of the USA.
